Shrine Mont: A place apart

Shrine Mont Episcopal Retreat and Conference Center is located in the heart of the beautiful Shenandoah Mountains and offers renewal and recreation for mind, body, and spirit.

Christ Church has a long history with Shrine Mont. We're excited to renew our relationship with this special place at a parish-wide weekend retreat on September 13-15. ALL are invited!

We will travel about 2.5 hours from Glen Allen to worship, play, sing, study, pray, and celebrate our church's 31st birthday.

Registration Details

Rates include lodging for 2 nights and all meals. Our Vestry has generously decided to cover the cost for all people 18 and under to join us for this amazing opportunity. That's right: this gathering is FREE for children and youth, thanks to your generosity.

Cost should not be a barrier that keeps anyone from enjoying this time with church family. If you find that you need an additional scholarship, please contact Father Ken Malcolm.

If you're able, we invite you to donate toward a scholarship fund to help support others. Your generosity will help others play and pray together!

4:00-5:30 pm and 7:00-9:00pm: Welcome Receptions with Drinks and Snacks

Saturday

8:00-9:00 am: Breakfast (Hotel)

9:00-9:30 am: Morning Prayers (Ballroom or TBD)

9:30-12:00 pm: Adult program (Rec Hall or Ballroom); Children's program (Location TBD)

12:30 pm: Lunch (Hotel)

1:00-4:00 pm: Free time

5:30 pm: Dinner (Hotel)

7:00-10:00 pm: Gather for group recreation, games, fun

Sunday

8:00-9:00 am: Breakfast (Hotel)

10:00 am: Worship (outdoor Shrine)

12:00 pm: Lunch (Hotel)
