Annual Appeal for your financial support
Each fall we launch an annual appeal to encourage one another to remember the abundance with which we have been blessed by God, and to give freely from that abundance. We say we “give back” because we know that all good gifts come from God, so we are giving from what God has given to us. By estimating the financial support you will be able to provide in the upcoming year, your ministry leaders can dream and plan for the future, and be thoughtful stewards as we determine the church's budget for transformational ministry. As Episcopalians, we believe in a "specific Christian commitment to ‘work, pray, and give for the spread of the kingdom of God.’” A financial estimate is a statement of intent, not a legal obligation, and it can be changed at any time.
Stewardship Ministry
At its heart, stewardship is about "using the gifts God gives us to do the work God calls us to do." As Christians, we are called to share our time, talent, and treasure. Our stewardship ministry team strives to meet you wherever you are on your giving journey and help you make deliberate choices to share your gifts with others and enjoy the grace of doing so. Using your Bank's Online Bill Pay to Make a Gift to Christ Church
You can always give securely to Christ Church online here. Another easy way to give electronically is by using the "Bill Pay" feature of your bank's website. This service is normally provided free of charge both to you (the bank's customer), and to the church. And when you give online using a Recurring Payment, you never have to worry about forgetting your checkbook or being out of town! Instead, your gift can be deducted automatically from your account without you ever having to manually write a check.
Each bank's website will be slightly different, but here is how the basic process works:
1. Log on to your bank's website and click on the link for the "Bill Pay" feature.
2. Add the church as a Payee.
3. Set up a Recurring Payment to be sent to the church on a scheduled basis (weekly, monthly, etc.). You can also send a one-time gift (e.g., for a special annual offering).
4. Each time you make a gift (either one-time or recurring), the bank will mail a check to the church. This check will be deposited into the church's bank account just like a regular, hand-written check.
